Arlene Faye Wireman

Arlene Faye Wireman, a cherished resident of Rensselaer, IN, born May 13, 1951, to Francis (Ralph) and Virginia (Hazelgrove) Jones, passed away on December 5, 2023. Her educational journey began at Fair Oaks Schools. Arlene experienced love twice in her life. Her first marriage was to Clyde Chops and he preceded her in death on January 26, 1978. On April 7, 1979, she entered a second beautiful union with Morgan Wireman, who passed away on April 26, 2014. Arlene devoted her life to the role of a homemaker, finding joy in simple pleasures like camping and observing the delightful antics of birds and squirrels in her yard. Her heart was as warm as her embrace of conversations with siblings and grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit touched her family deeply, earning her profound love and respect from all who knew her. She was a kind woman, leaving an indelible mark on those she touched. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Jimmy & Kim Chops of Francesville, IN, Tommy & Junelle Chops of Rensselaer, IN, Tina & Doug Richie of Rensselaer, IN, Krissondra & Tammy Wireman of Rensselaer, IN; her grandchildren: Amanda & Kaity, Jordan & Brittney, Kaitlyn, Megan, James, Adrianna, Morgan, Douglas & Morgan; and her great-grandchildren: Easton, Everly, Nora Ruth, Liam, who all lovingly knew her as “GG”; and numerous nieces and nephews. Arlene is also survived by her siblings: Jean Griffey of Kouts, IN, Ruth (John) Burns of Rensselaer, IN, Sharon Chapman of Rensselaer, IN, Ralph “Lee” (Kathy) Jones of Rensselaer, IN, David (Patsy) Jones of Rensselaer, IN, Marlene Emmie (David) Wilson of Sheldon, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Clyde, second husband Morgan, brother Howard, and sister-in-law Glenda. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM CT at Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer. A funeral service honoring her life will take place on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 10:30 AM CT at Jackson Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Jim Chops officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Rensselaer. In remembrance of Arlene's beautiful life, contributions may be made to the family.
