Bonnie C. Louck

Bronlyn “Bonnie” C. Louck, age 82, of Rensselaer, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on July 25, 2024. She was born on May 19, 1942 to Clark & Helen (Clark) Hutchison. Bonnie graduated from Frankfort High School, Frankfort, Indiana, Class of 1960. After high school, she attended Indiana University. On September 1, 1962, she married Dr. Michael Louck, who passed away November 3, 2015. Together, they raised seven children. Active in her community throughout her life, Bonnie was the owner and operator of From the Needle’s Point and Long’s Gift Shop. She also served as a past school board member and was involved with various organizations such as a founding member of Fendig Theatre for Children, Rensselaer Retail Merchant’s Association, Psi Iota Xi Sorority, volunteer for the Good Samaritan Food Pantry of Rensselaer, United Methodist Church, and Girl Scouts of the USA. In addition to her community involvement, she found enjoyment in scrapbooking, card making, writing letters and reading. Bonnie will forever be remembered by her seven children, Kim (Trena Cole) Louck Rushing of Carrollton, TX, Stacy (Stephen) Sturgeon of Clayton, CA, Michelle (Bill) Smith of East Liverpool, OH, Heather (Mark) Heinig of Rensselaer, IN, Matthew (Christine) Louck of Brownsburg, IN, Kerri (Doug) Frantz of Broomfield, CO & Christopher (Brooke Kurtz) Louck, MD of Rensselaer, IN. Also surviving is her sister, Judy (Bob) Ditter of Pleasanton, CA, 17 - Grandchildren (Sidney Lawler, Blake & Brycen Rushing; Gwyneth Sturgeon; Ian, Colin, Brannan, & Keeley Smith; Helen Brincefield, Harrison, MaryGrace & Anderson Heinig; Nathan Louck; Rylan & Elise Frantz and Ryan & Emily Louck and 5 Great-grandchildren (Walker Lawler; Edison & Everett Heinig; Hudson Brincefield and Samuel Cornwell). She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Michael Louck. Private family services will be held with an online condolence page available at www.jacksonfuneral.com.
