Suzanne Renee (Walstra) Biddle

Suzanne R. Biddle (Walstra), 48, of Paragon, Indiana, passed away on June 17, 2026. She was born on July 1, 1977, to Wayne and Margie Walstra. Suzanne, a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend, had a smile that could light up an entire room and a kindness that made people feel welcome, valued, and loved. She treated everyone with respect and compassion, never hesitating to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or simply be there when someone needed her. Suzanne’s greatest joys came from the people and animals she loved. She had a heart that was especially devoted to animals and spent more than 25 years working in the animal field, where she shared her compassion and care with countless animals and their families. She also served her community through her work with the United States Postal Service. A lifelong animal lover, Suzanne’s special companions included her horse, Ricky Bobby, and her beloved dogs, Zeus, Baine, and Watson. Her love for animals reflected the warmth, patience, and kindness she carried throughout her life. Suzanne graduated from Kankakee Valley High School in 1995 and continued her studies, graduating from Purdue University in 1996, earning her Bachelor’s degree as a Vet Tech. She enjoyed riding horses, swimming in the pool, and spending time with her family. She lived the way she presented herself: “Life is too short not to smile,” a saying that captured her joyful spirit and how she approached life. Suzanne was especially devoted to her daughter, Taylor-Anne Biddle, who survives her, bonus daughter, Olivia Smith, and fiancé Michael Soots, and grandson, Jaxson Soots, who all contributed to the happiness in her life. She is also survived by her parents, Wayne and Margie Walstra; her sister, Shannon Frieden, husband Chad Frieden, and their children, Halle and Zack Frieden, and numerous aunts and uncles. Suzanne was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Mary Ann Roorda, and Clarence and Malene Walstra. The sudden loss of Suzanne leaves a pain that cannot be measured. She was more than a mother; she was a friend, a source of strength, and someone her family could always count on. Her memory will live on through the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the countless moments of happiness she created with those around her. Suzanne will be deeply missed, but her beautiful smile, generous heart, and love for others will continue to inspire everyone who knew her. Family & friends are invited to visit on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Neal & Summers, 110 E Poston Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151 from 3:00 until 7:00 pm, (EST). There will be another viewing at First Church, 5387 IN-10, Wheatfield, IN 46392 on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 11:00 am (CST) until time of service at 2:00 pm with Tony Shock officiating. Interment will follow at Holland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Suzanne’s name to victims of domestic violence at National Domestic Violence Hotline
