Frank D. Zickmund Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Frank D. Zickmund age 80, of Rensselaer, IN passed away Monday March 27, 2017 in Windfall, IN. He was born April 25, 1936 in Newton Township, IN to Frank and Mary (Dearing) Zickmund, both deceased. Frank attended Elementary School and Jr High at North Newton Township and graduated from Rensselaer High School in 1954. He served in the National Guard. He was a retired life long mechanic. On June 5, 1960 he married Madeline Kay Nevitt, who passed away March 27, 2008. He attended Parr First Baptist Church. He was a member of Retired Iron of Jasper County, former member of Lions Club, Williamsburg, IN and affilate member of Fraternal Order Police. Frank is survived by his children: Nadine (Brian) Gantt; Renee (Gary) Braasch and Scott (Robyn) Zickmund all of Rensselaer, IN; Frank (Trisha) Zickmund Jr., Windfall, IN; and Donald (Rebecca) Zickmund, Oxford, IN. 10 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren Brothers, Andrew Zickmund, Remington, IN; Michael Zickmund. Mt. Ayr, IN; Fred Zickmund, SC and Tom Zickmund, MO. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Madeline and daughter, Paula Maria.. Friends may call on Thursday March 30, 2017 from 2-8 PM at Jackson Funeral Chapel, Rensselaer. Funeral service will be held on Friday March 31, 2017 at 10 AM at Jackson Funeral Chapel, Rensselaer, IN with Randall Gann officiating. Interment at Memory Gardens, Rensselaer, IN. Memorials may be made to The Family or American Cancer Society.
