Steven E. Shoemaker, age 67, of Kentland, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022. He was born on November 30, 1954, and adopted and raised by Glen and Grace Houghousen. Steven worked at US Steel. He enjoyed cars and motorcycles and had many plans for travel and activities with Gabriel and Gabrielle. Steven loved spending time with his children, and they will miss him dearly. Steven is survived by his son, Gabriel Shoemaker, and daughter, Gabrielle Shoemaker. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Grace. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 1:00 PM CDT at Weston Cemetery of Rensselaer.
