Beverly Ann Jones

Beverly Ann Jones (née McClure), 86, of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, at the UNC REX Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center in Apex, North Carolina. She was born on March 7, 1938, to her loving parents, Charles and Georgia McClure. On September 11, 1965, Beverly married the love of her life, Charles L. "Chuck" Jones, who preceded her in death in 2009. Beverly dedicated much of her career to working as a bookkeeper at Ortman Fluid Power in Hammond, Indiana, where her attention to detail and commitment to excellence were highly valued by all who knew her. She was a member of the Hammond Mohawks, the Moose Club and the Southern Lake County Conservation Club. After Chuck’s passing, Beverly moved to Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, in 2011 to be closer to her beloved sister, Sharon McClure Rembach, who passed away in 2019. Beverly was cared for by her nephew, Dan Rembach, his wife, Teena, and their daughters, Haley Marin Rembach of Fuquay, and Hannah Gordon Rembach, (wife Haley Gordon Rembach) of Fuquay-Varina. Their unwavering love and support brought Beverly great comfort, and she cherished the time spent with them. Beverly was a kind and compassionate woman who loved deeply and gave selflessly. Her greatest joys in life came from the love of her family and the companionship of her cherished animals. She shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Lady, whose unwavering loyalty was a constant source of comfort and joy. Lady was more than just a pet; she was Beverly’s faithful companion, offering love and companionship through every season of life. Beverly is also survived by her brother, David McClure (Kay Snow) of Oak Park, Illinois; her stepdaughter, Aretta (Salvatore) Oliva of Merrillville; her stepdaughter-in-law, Karen Jones (late Charles L. Jones) of Demotte; her stepson, Eric Jones of Cedar Lake; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Charles "Chuck" Jones; her parents, Charles and Georgia McClure; her brothers, Charles and Byron McClure; her sisters, Opal Milkovich, Betty Parot, Norma Dorsey, Donna Smolen, and Sharon Rembach; and her stepson, Charles L Jones, stepdaughters Betty Jane Pettigrew and Diane Kras. A celebration of Beverly’s life will take place on April 25th at 2:00 PM at the Cemetery of the Resurrection, Cemetery in DeMotte, Indiana. Following the service, a family-led celebration of Beverly’s life will be held at Marcella’s Pizzeria in Wheatfield, one of Beverly’s favorite places to eat, to share stories and celebrate her memory. May her gentle spirit and the warmth of her love remain forever in our hearts.
